The Camp Day
Throughout the day on camp we provide the opportunity to engage in a huge variety of activities. There is the opportunity to try a range of new activities and sports as well as continue to play those that you know and love. We want all of our camp members to develop a love of sport and being active.
Camp Day Timetable
9:00-9:30am: Drop-off
9:30-10:30am: Activity One
10:30-10:45am: Break/Snack
10:45-11:30am: Activity Two
Water break
11:30-12:30pm: Activity Three
12:30-1:30pm: Lunch
1:30-2:30pm: Activity Four
Water break
2:30-3:30pm: Activity Five
3:30-4:00pm: Pick-up
Activities and Sports
Football, Tennis, Rugby, Golf, Archery, Softball, Cricket, Volleyball, Arts & Crafts, Nature Walks, Raft Building, Fort Building, Quidditch, Danish Longball, Ultimate Frisbee, Handball, Hockey, Aussie Rules, Badminton, Lacrosse, Bowls, Treasure Hunt and Strategy Games.
Example Sessions- Gain a feel of how our sessions progress. Our aim is to develop the basics and have lots of fun doing it!
Football-40mins
Dribbling Drills- Slalom, Inside and Outside foot, at Speed. 5mins
Passing Drills- both feet, 1 touch, 2 touch, trap and Cruyff turn. 5 mins
Mini Games- Conditions- 3 passes before scoring, Only left fot shots, Can only score in the box. 15 mins
Full Games- No conditions. 15mins
Cricket- 40mins
Catching Skills- Both hands, 1 hand, low and high, picks ups. 5mins
Throwing Drills- Underarm, Overarm, Pick Ups, Distance, Accuracy. 5mins
Mini Games- Conditions- Candlesticks, Keep the ball, Last man Standing. 15mins
Diamond Cricket- 4s. 15mins
